Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has cancelled its planned purchase of Roomba maker iRobot The company claims that the deal is facing "undue and unjustified regulatory hurdles." The company will pay iRobot an amount for breakup of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed to be anti-competitive according to the European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and the top antitrust enforcement agency).
