Zeus Vs Hades

Zeus is the god of lightning and the sky. He is a giant of power. He is more powerful than the combined strength of the Olympian gods.

Hades is the Greek god of the underworld. He is the younger brother of Zeus and Poseidon. He is feared due to his association with death and his brutal nature.

Poseidon

As the King of the Sea, Poseidon is a powerful god in his own right. He can manipulate water, and even alter its form. He is also able to create natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis and oscarreys.Top other natural disasters using his trident.

Hades

Hades is the god of the underworld and has dominion over everything that is dead. He is the eldest of the Big Three and arguably the strongest. It could be a close fight between him and Zeus. Hades could easily defeat Zeus in the sky, however Zeus would lose in the underworld.

Hades was the son of Kronos and Rhea. Hades is most well-known for his abduction of Persephone, the daughter of Demeter. This event provided the Greeks the mythology of the Underworld. This also gives them the mythology of Hades as the god of the dead.

Following the Titan War Gods were granted the chance to draw lots for their domains. Zeus was awarded the sky, Poseidon got water, and Hades got earth and all that is below it. The Olympians were hedonists and did not want anything to do with death. They were not even fond of touching dead bodies or getting near it. Hades had to deal every day with all the dead corpses. He is the only god that can actually do his. Other gods are lazy or play with their pets.

This caused Hades to be more associated with work than the other gods. The Olympians were astonished and contempt for this. He was required to complete his job regardless.
