iRobot Roomba Combo Review

The roomba combo is a capable mopper, though it lacks some of the more sophisticated features that make the Roomba j7+ such an impressive sweeper and mover. It switches from sweeping to mopping when it detects a damp surface. A small robot arm lifts a little water tank/dustbin combo and a new pad is inserted into the cleaner when you press a button.

It was able to navigate smoothly even when the route was not entirely clear. It's not the most efficient at avoiding obstacles, however it was fairly quick to recognize and find a way around larger objects such as socks and toys that block its path.

The app allows you to modify your schedule. You can create a specific cleaning path and create Keep Out Zones (or Clean Zones) that direct the robot in the right direction. It also provides the details of what it has done and its health state. You can even pair it with your Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant-enabled devices to provide voice control. Roomba provides Dirt Detective which automatically prioritizes the areas that are most filthy for most frequent mopping or vacuuming. PrecisionVision Navigation lets it keep away from objects like charging cables, shoes and socks. This is an excellent feature that could save you some time when you're trying to complete a task accomplished.

Battery Life

The Combo J7+ is powered by an efficient lithium-ion battery that offers plenty of capacities for cleaning your home. Its dust bin and water tank hold 200 and 400 ml respectively, and the robot features a high-efficiency filtration system to collect dirt particles and stop them from resurfacing on your flooring.
