The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the top rated robot vacuum-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of one button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a big deal if you want to own one of the best mop and vacuum robot combo robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move on when it encounters one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum and mop for laminate floors known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

Finally, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the Robot Cleaner And Mop is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the best vacuum and mop robot machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu in which you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home.
