The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a budget and don't require an extra stroller that can be used as a car seat carrier. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when you're navigating kerbs and woodland pathways. Additionally, it's easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most lightweight stroller, both for city dwellers as as jet-setters. This is thanks to its nimble maneuverability and fold which fits in the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate through all kinds of surfaces and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base along with the curved fabric bassinet and 6+ month color pack create a stylish pushchair that's easy on the eyes and has a subtle but elegant design and a tasteful branding. The base frame weighs less than a kilo, and is so lightweight that it is able to be lifted from the box with just one hand.

It's also easy to attach or remove attachments or adaptors such as the hood, for example, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking and is machine washable at 30deg to prevent staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller from 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents who are looking for a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore can be transformed from a stroller to an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide which one is the best fit for their journey. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months to 5 years, and it comes with a spacious storage basket that can accommodate everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has two canopies that rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for the entire family. It also has a footwell that's not as large or deep as some wagons, so it may not be suitable for long excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as other wagons we have tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It scored a dazzling score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size which means it's lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also features an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and a cup holder single buggy for sale the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the most compact we tested, with only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

It took us less than 3 minutes to put together the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. However, it's missing some critical features that we believe it is important to consider as non-negotiable features in a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is suitable from birth until 3.5-years-old. The seat and carrycot can be easily converted with a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes with the lightweight Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It's really easy to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. Despite this being quite a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward direction, or they can pivot. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. We allowed the front wheels to swivel on our walk along the stony path. It was able to handle this well, although it seemed slightly rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. But they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds small enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers that we tried, but because it has rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-made. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all kinds of terrain, and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.

Both the carrycot and seat have hoods that can be removed to reveal UV50and sun canopy extension. They are showerproof and sturdy unlike other prams' hoods that get turned back into toddlers' faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that can be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first came out. It is an aluminium-framed stroller which can be used from the baby's first days to beyond. The wheels are durable and filled with foam which minimizes punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. It was simple to push and our test driver was able to maneuver the vehicle through tight streets.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be facing each other or turn around and face parents, theoretically reducing sibling fights over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a big tray for gears, a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has a folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great jogger for parents that like to be active. It's one of the lightest running strollers you can buy for your child and offers amazing safety features, including five-point harnesses and a secure wrist strap. It also features a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type used on rival models.

The seat is comfortable and has a wide area to sit in, but the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds. This is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and infant car seats, but you can use them starting from the first day with adapters that fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes about 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
