The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of the button. You can opt for an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it does not have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best brand robot vacuum and mop robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's items that need to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best buy robot vacuum mop performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first go. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you could want. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, allowing you to control it even when you're away from home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and good robot vacuum vacuum that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor Robotic Cleaner And mop. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving around the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
