The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It has a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to map your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features such as the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with future models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think this is a nice statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best rated robot vacuum and mop combo robots available. The dust tank on the robo mops-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on when it encounters one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best rated robot vacuum and mop combo performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors with the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend wiping them dry with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also features a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum and mop on amazon known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it back to its base station. The control panel is the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house.
